Why a toy can look different online than in person

Without an object to compare it with, it is very hard to judge dimensions in a photograph. A smaller vibrator can look big on screen, and a robust model can look much more discreet than it really is.

From a picture you can't tell the softness of the material, the firmness of the toy or how it sits in the hand and is operated. Nor can you reliably estimate the vibration strength, the noise level or the quality of the buttons.

Details that you can't see in product photos can be decisive too: the charging connector, the real usable length, flexibility, the texture of the surface or the way it is cleaned.
